This Privacy Policy explains how Odyssa (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use Odyssa (the “Service”). We process personal data in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, including the Law on Personal Data Protection 2025 (Law No. 91/2025/QH15) and Decree No. 356/2025/ND-CP, and we honor the rights of users in other regions (including the EU/UK) where applicable.

We collect data directly from you, automatically through your use of the Service and cookies, and from our Payment Provider. We rely on your consent and on the performance of our agreement with you to provide the Service, as well as on legal obligations and our legitimate interests where permitted by law.

To provide and operate the Service (including the globe, markings, uploads, sharing, and downloads); manage your account; personalize your experience; process Subscriptions through our Payment Provider; ensure security and prevent abuse; communicate with you; and comply with legal obligations.

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with: our Payment Provider (for billing); service providers/processors (cloud hosting, storage, CDN, analytics) under confidentiality obligations; competent authorities where required by law; and a successor in the event of a merger or acquisition.

6. Photos, Videos & Metadata

Photos and videos you upload may contain embedded location or other metadata. If you share a globe link, the content you choose to include may be viewable by anyone with the link. Remove sensitive content or strip metadata before uploading or sharing if you do not want it disclosed.

The Service is global, and your data may be stored or processed by providers located outside Vietnam. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we apply appropriate safeguards and comply with applicable transfer requirements under Vietnamese law (including Decree No. 356/2025/ND-CP) and other applicable laws.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymize it. Specific retention periods: for the life of your account, and deleted within 30 days after you delete your account; technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (such as encryption, access controls, and monitoring) to protect personal data. No system is completely secure. In the event of a personal-data breach, we will notify affected users and the competent authority within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: be informed; access and obtain a copy of your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. 11. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 without parental/guardian consent. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. EU/UK Users

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR/UK GDPR applies to your data. Our legal bases are described above. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy and will post the updated version with a new effective date; we will notify you of material changes.
